Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of the Cerberus Cloud platform and this website. By creating an account, connecting an Azure tenant, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.
The service
Cerberus provides a read-only Azure cost-optimisation and FinOps delivery platform for managed service providers. Cerberus identifies findings and estimates recoverable savings based on data retrieved from connected Azure tenants; it does not make changes to any connected environment. Any remediation is implemented by you or your team, at your own discretion, after your own review.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the Azure service principal credentials you provide, for ensuring you have authority to connect any tenant you connect, and for evaluating every Cerberus finding before acting on it. Cerberus findings are decision support, not a substitute for your own engineering judgement about whether a given change is safe for a specific workload.
Fees and billing
Fees are billed in advance on the plan and interval agreed at signup, in the band matching your managed Azure spend as described on the Pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice.
Intellectual property
Cerberus retains all rights in the platform, its software and its findings methodology. You retain all rights in your own data. We don't use your data to train models or share it with third parties beyond what's needed to run the service, as described on our Security page.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." Cerberus does not warrant that every finding is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific environment — findings are estimates based on available signals, and recoverable-savings figures are projections, not guarantees. You remain solely responsible for any change made to your Azure environment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cerberus's total liability arising from these terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose. Cerberus is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including from a change your team makes based on a Cerberus finding.
Termination
Either party may terminate at the end of the current billing period with notice. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if these terms are materially breached or if continued access would create a security risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date above shows when they were last revised; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
